Hello lovelies, welcome back to 50 PLUS A TIP Podcast! đź’•

It’s been a hot minute since the ladies have gotten behind the mic and oof, they have a lot of ground to cover. So much to cover, in fact, that this episode is going to be a TWO PARTER.  

While away from the podcast podium, Danica celebrated Canada Day in Australia (like a true Ex Pat), enjoyed three weeks back home where a favourite regular expressed his love language in bulk cookies 🍪, and apparently decided to rebrand herself - classic lashes, natural hair, filler-free lips… who is she?!


While off-duty from podcast land, Riley has also been frolicking around the globe, taking care of her sister in Bangkok and surprising her family in New Zealand. Riley has been having a few beauty treatments herself, some successful (goodbye microblading) and others well…. not so much. Plus she shares a very exciting milestone 🏡!

Danica is a sarcastic, straightforward, sex-postive feminist with a passion for topics that some may consider “taboo.” With a psychology degree under her belt, a public speaker/ university guest lecturer, a devoted sex workers advocate and a successful career as an exotic dancer - she knows some stuff!

Danica lives her life by two philosophies: 1) it’s better to have a life of “oh well”s than “what if”s and 2) be unapologetically you! Her years of experience as a sex worker have given her a passion and drive to do what she can to eliminate the dangerous stigma that currently surrounds the sex industry. She is confident that sharing her stories as an active sex worker can do just that - show women (and men) that they can own their sexuality proudly (and sometimes even profit off of it)!

Riley

Riley is a down-to-earth, career dancer with over seven years in the industry. Originally from New Zealand and now based in Canada, her path began as a topless poker dealer and quickly grew into a dynamic career as an exotic dancer, dominatrix, and cam model. With a degree in statistics and currently pursuing a bookkeeping certificate, Riley plans to use her education to help others in the industry navigate their finances while challenging the stigma that surrounds sex work. A lifelong learner with a love for travel, she sees her career not just as a job, but as a platform to advocate, educate, and celebrate the freedom of owning one’s sexuality.
